The intrigued Master of Acolytes walks around the quiet audience of Young Monks and the GROANING Nangsang. He walks Sunji out of ear-shot from the others. MASTER OF ACOLYTES Come, I am going to take you to the upper level. An unusual honour, but you will learn why. INT. CORRIDOR - MOMENTS LATER The Master of Acolytes is speaking to Sunji MOS. They pass through the wide corridor looking at RELIGIOUS OFFICES, INNER TEMPLES and various SCHOOL ROOMS. EXT. ROOF OF CHAKPORI LAMASERY - DAY They emerge from climbing up the stairs. Then walk across the flat roof, while shielding their eyes from the sudden brightness of the sun. They arrive at the gold-pannelled doorway of the Lord Abbot's house. Sunji is introduced to the censorious Lord Abbot. He is given a stringent lecture on the duties, and training he will be recieving in the coming years. Sunji respectfully acknowledges, and goes to work.
